Folders allow you to organize and manage your profiles more efficiently.
Folders List
The list of folders can be found on the Profiles screen.
New button – creates a new folder.
The list of profiles consists of:
- All profiles – displays all your profiles in the list on the right when selected.
- Folder items – display the profiles of this folder in the list on the right when selected.
Profile list item
- Icon and Name – a click on it selects the folder
- Context menu (⋯) – contains the following options:
- Change proxies – allows applying Chameleon Residential or other proxies to the profiles of the folder.
- Rename folder.
- Delete – deletes the folder after confirmation.
- Star button – marks the profile as a favorite for quick access on the Dashboard.
Managing folders
Create a new folder
To create a new folder:
- Click the New button. The folder is created immediately with the name "Folder N".
Rename a folder
- In the context menu of the folder, click Rename folder.
- Enter the new name.
- Press Save button.
Delete a folder
- In the context menu of the folder, click Delete.
- In the confirmation pop-up, click Yes to confirm deletion.
If you delete a folder containing profiles, those profiles will no longer be in any folder and can be found in the "All Profiles" section. The profiles are not deleted.
Select folder
- Click on the folder icon or name to select it. All its profiles will be displayed on the left side of the screen.
Managing profiles in folders
Move profile to a folder
- Select the profile(s) you want to move to the folder.
- On the Action Panel, click the Move button.
- Select the folder where to move profile(s).
- Click OK.
If the profile is already in a folder, then it will be moved from the old folder to a new one. If the profile is not in a folder, then it will be added to a new folder.
Remove profile from a folder
- Select the profile(s) you want to remove from the folder.
- On the Action Panel, click the Remove button.
- Confirm the removal and the profile(s) will be taken out of the current folder.
